A l'automne 2008, Cl[r] (Claire Latinier) auteur, compositeur et interprète et Mélou (Mélanie Havard) guitariste de formation classique et multi instrumentiste forment à Rouen le projet 32 fondé sur un
répertoire de compositions originales et l'envie de travailler en duo, un choix esthétique qui sera dès lors déterminant dans l'ensemble du processus de création. Une voix, des guitares électriques mises en boucles se répondent, se superposent à travers une musique dédiée au live.

Les bases sont jetées et en 2009, 32 enregistre et auto-produit "Le Pilote, 32 "Histoires harmoniques""
puis réalise son premier clip, « La Commode », avec la participation de la troupe d'improvisation Jeux d'Rôles. De tremplins en concerts les arrangements se succèdent, se renouvellent et s'enrichissent de
nouveaux titres et de nouveaux sons aux influences rocks et électros. Découverte du Festival Chants d'Elles à l'automne 2010, c'est l'occasion pour 32 de vivre un premier passage radio en live et de se produire lors de deux concerts plébiscités par le public et toute l'équipe du festival.

L'année 2011 marque un tournant tant musical que scénique pour le duo. Intégration d'une basse,
développement scénographique puis enregistrement d'un EP 5 titres sont au c?ur de la première saison.

Parallèlement, et tout en continuant à se produire régulièrement sur scène, 32 réalise un second clip sur le titre éponyme « 32 », avant-gout de l'EP à venir. Pour ce second opus, sorti en décembre dernier, 32 choisi de travailler en partenariat avec Lilou Des Bois, artiste mime et fondatrice de la Cie parisienne Macadâmes et de créer l'évènement en mobilisant une partie de son public pour composer un « 32 » humain et géant en place publique.

L'année 2012 commence fort et « les 32 » ne s'arrêtent pas là. Pour leur premier concert de l'année elles expérimentent avec succès l'intégration de nouveaux instruments, batterie et clavier viennent compléter le set. Sur scène les deux musiciennes virevoltent d'un instrument à l'autre avec une complicité partagée.

Le duo travaillant actuellement à la réalisation de son EP, « 32, Duo Electrique Bouclé » se concentre sur sa tournée estivale et les prochains concerts à venir !

Cl(r) (Claire Latinier) writer and singer, and Mélou (Mélanie Havard) classical-trained guitarist and multi-instrumentalist formed the project 32 in Rouen (Normandy) during the autumn 2008. The idea was based on a repertoire of original songs and the will to work as a duo, an aesthetic choice that would determine the creation process. A voice and electric guitars looped together that interact, and juxtapose themselves for music made for the stage.

The basis is set and in 2009 32 self-produces and records "Le Pilote, 32 - Histoires Harmoniques". Then, the band makes its first video of the song "La Commode", with the presence of the theatre company "Jeux d'Rôles". From gigs to concerts, the arrangements are renewed, enriched and improved with new songs and new rock and electronic sounds. They were discovered by a wider audience during the festival Chants D'Elles (fall 2010), which led the band to be broadcasted live for the first time on the radio and to do two more acclaimed concerts in this festival.

The year 2011 represents a turning point for 32, musically as well as in a scenic way. The integration of a bass, the stage development and the recording of their five songs EP are the new challenges that the band overcame.

In the meantime, 32 shot its second video of the eponymous song "32". For this matter, they chose to work with Lilou Des Bois, a mime artist and founder of the Parisian company Macadâmes. As well, they created an event by inviting their audience to join them in a public place and form a huge 32. The images were then use in the video.

2012 started strongly: for their first concert of the year, they successfully experienced the integration of new instruments (drums and keyboard). On stage, the two musicians can't help themselves from playing all the instruments and interacting with each other and their audience.

They are currently working on the release of their EP "32, Duo Électrique Bouclé" (32, an Electric Looped Duo). They are also focusing on their summer tour and the next concerts that we are certainly all going to enjoy!
