KOM3DIJA
CROATIA
Kom3dija is a Croatian rock band formed in 2008 and has won several music awards since then. They've released two albums so far. The Indian Found It Funny (2009, Dallas records), brings folk rock music close to that of The Pogues, with the influence of several music genres such as rockabilly, blues, reggae and swing. Their second album, I Say Peace (2011, Dallas records) brings a more complete rock sound with 12 author songs, reminiscent of Manu Chao, Gogol Bordello and Kultur Shock. Jazzy clarinet and Waits' drunk'n' blues vocal create a special cabaret atmosphere.
For the past three years, Kom3dija's been playing everywhere from Slovakia to Italy, and across ex-Yugoslavian countries. They've had more than 400 gigs in the clubs, on music festivals and big stages, not to mention countless street jam performances.
